Acknowledgement of Country

The ICACS & SHIM 2024 conference series acknowledge the traditional owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and celebrate the diversity of First Nations peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands and waters of Australia.

The Australian National University acknowledges, celebrates and pays our respects to the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people of the Canberra region and to all First Nations Australians on whose traditional lands we meet and work, and whose cultures are among the oldest continuing cultures in human history.
